arab healthSUEZ Water Purification Systems Ltd will use Arab Health 2017 to demonstrate how to enhance clinical excellence, efficiency and patient safety through its leading range of healthcare-accredited water purification technologies. In addition to displaying its proven products specially designed for use in infection control and pathology laboratories, sterile services departments, clinical analysers and renal wards, the global water purification specialist will present a series of newly developed top-grade systems that will be unveiled for the first time at the exhibition.

Among the innovations on show will be SUEZ’s Heatsan hot water disinfection systems and its range of Elite MediQA reverse osmosis units that reliably deliver ultrapure water at the correct quality for haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration on hospital wards. These high performance devices offer high recovery and output flow rates of up to 4,000 litres per hour and have been specifically developed for ease of operation with full colour, touchscreen displays. Equally, they feature advance data logging technology to provide access to historical records for full traceability.

Other sophisticated technologies being displayed at Arab Health 2017 include the Elite Plus range for applications requiring between 500 and 5,000 litres of RO grade water per hour and the groundbreaking Centurion 1500 single patient unit for the easy management of haemodialysis self-care at home and in treatment centres. As well as ensuring optimum microbiological performance through either chemical disinfection or heat sanitisation, the latter device is also exceptionally simple to use for consistently outstanding patient care and superior clinical outcomes.

With a fatality rate of almost 50 per cent in hospital-acquired cases of Legionnaires’ Disease and Pseudomonas aeruginosa causing up to 4,000 nosocomial infections each year, it is vital that water systems are effectively managed with biocides and best practice processes in the healthcare sector.  SUEZ has developed and manufactured a broad range of world-class, low environmental impact water treatment chemicals for elimating water waterborne pathogens and infections and ensuring patient safety. Included in the range of chemicals is the revolutionary Ultralox, which has been developed specifically for combatting microbial control problems in the healthcare industry.
